Our Trustees

LEAP Multi-Academy Trust is governed by a skilled Board of Trustees. Under the scheme of delegation the Board is responsible for the strategic direction of the Trust, its financial strategy and efficiency, staffing structures and remuneration, and the overall performance of students attending Trust schools.

Our Trustees are:-

Brian Rossiter (Chair of Board)

Brian is a former Secondary School Headteacher and still works in the education sector as a consultant and trainer. He is also Trustee of a local charitable Trust which provides grants to organisations involved with sick and disabled people to support the alleviation of their suffering/assist in recovery.

 

 

 

 

Greg Burke (Vice-Chair of Board) 

Greg is a Senior Civil Servant with the Department of Education, working at offices in London, Sheffield and Manchester and who provides significant educational expertise to the Board.

 

 

 

 

 

Kim Bottomley

Kim is an Operations Manager for a local registered charity concerned with improving the well-being and quality of life of those suffering with dementia. An experienced School Governor over several years at both primary and secondary level, Kim has experience of having also been Chair of Trustees of a primary Academy Trust in the Rotherham area and a Governor at a School within that Trust.

 

 

 

Mark Garrison

After studying Accountancy and graduating in 1985, Mark joined a local Rotherham firm of chartered accountants and is now a Director of the company. Mark provides considerable expertise in Academy financial management.

 

 

 

 

Mark Slocombe

Mark’s previous professional background and expertise was focused on operational risk and finance responsibilities within the banking industry. Mark is now a coaching/mentoring consultant focused on people, efficiency, risk and technology.

 

 

 

 

Andrew Riches (CEO) 

Andy has worked in Senior Leadership for 15 years and has provided leadership training and consultancy for a number of schools in York and the Humber.

 

 

 

 

 

Wayne Barsby (Executive Principal)

Wayne was previously a Headteacher in Nottinghamshire and has worked as a Senior Leader in 3 schools. He has run Senior Leader training courses in South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire.
